My current research in
Dr. Dordick’s group involves to obtain the chemical structure of
apocynin
oxidation products catalyzed by peroxidase and the biochemical
mechanism how
they inhibit the assembly and activation of human vascular NADPH
oxidase
complex, which is recognized the major source of reactive oxygen
species (ROS)
in the three principal cell types of blood vessel wall and plays a
critical
