Graduate Student

I am from Manchester, NH and completed my B.S. in Microbiology with minors in both Biochemistry and Forensic Psychology at Texas State University. After graduating, I worked as a diagnostic laboratory supervisor in Houston, TX. I joined the Dordick lab in the Spring of 2025 to study infectious disease mechanisms.
My research interests are in understanding glycosaminoglycan (GAG)-mediated viral entry mechanisms and developing targeted inhibitors to disrupt these interactions. My research focuses on characterizing viral protein-GAG binding. Additionally, I aim to design and evaluate GAG mimetics as potential antiviral agents, integrating structural insights with translational applications. Through this work, I hope to advance antiviral drug discovery by targeting conserved host-viral interactions.
In my free time, I love playing pickleball, going on hikes with my dog, and exploring new places.
