The Dordick Group includes chemical engineers, bioengineers, materials scientists, biologists, and chemists all focused on gaining a quantitative understanding of biological principles and applying them to advance biomanufacturing, nanotechnology and advanced materials, and drug discovery. Specific areas of current research include protein structure and function at biological-material interfaces, biomanufacturing of high value products, stem cell bioengineering, remote and non-invasive control of gene expression, and high-throughput 3D cell culture for drug efficacy and toxicity screening.
